This campground has a very pretty setting on the top of a mountain. We stayed in a pull-through site near the office. The pull through sites closer to the clubhouse have a much nicer view. Water pressure is not as high as we prefer. This park is run by two women who are very nice. They provide cookies and candies which are a nice touch. Clubhouse is well maintained and comfortable. Not a fancy place to stay; but quiet, pretty and not too far a drive from Hot Springs. We also did a day visit to Little Rock. In Hot Springs, be sure to check out The Wharf Restaurant: excellent. We were so sorry we did not find it until our last day. Excellent sea food: halibut and talapia to die for. Also Doe's is good for steak. Both have nice views of Lake Hamilton and decks for eating out in nice weather.

We camped right on the river and loved it. There were some pesky little bugs that looked like lady bugs; but are not and do bite. They kept getting in the coach the second day. Other than that and low water pressure, this park was great. The managers were very helpful and nice and the people staying in the park when we were here were extremely friendly. I think that is because the park is on the river more people tend to come out to sit or walk so it just seems like a friendlier park than many we have been in. Liked that they have benches all along the river so that if you take a long walk you can stop and rest or if you are just there for one night and want to use them instead of pulling out your chairs you can. Also convenient to I-40 and sightseeing in Memphis.

This park is adequate; however, we thought it was a bit pricey. If we were staying in Santa Fe again we would try the Park just beyond this one on the left - Trailer Ranch RV Park. Although we were right next to the Wi-Fi connection the Wi-Fi did not work. Also they sell propane here. We filled up and had good service; however it was 70 cents a gallon more expensive than other places. 50 Amp electric plug-in is in center of pad and we did not notice that until we had leveled and our electric cord almost didn't reach. Some sites looked like they could be very muddy if it rained. Sites are narrow; but, we found them to be adequate. A plus that it is close to downtown Santa Fe.

This is a nice campground. The manager was very accommodating when we asked to stay another day because a bad weather front was hitting where we were heading and flood and hail was expected there so we felt it would be better to wait it out here. He had someone scheduled for our spot; but, moved them so we did not have to move. Only 3 1/2 miles to the the National OK City Memorial (NOCM). Also close to I-40. Because we stayed the second day, we took the opportunity to visit the NOCM and were very glad we did.

This campground is clean and has paved sites. It does not have other amenities; however we found it very adequate for a short stay. For a big rig (ours is a 43 with tow) the roads to and from the sites are tight; but manageable. Power, water, sewer all good. Owner/manager very friendly and helpful. We were concerned that it would be noisy since it is located on Airport Road near the airport; however, it was very quiet

This is not a fancy campground; however it is clean, comfortable and has wide sites that are level. We enjoyed meeting Pop and stayed here 8 nights - 4 before a rally and 4 after the rally. It is centrally located to visit the Bolack Game Reserve, Aztec Ruins National Monument and Museum, Four Corners National Monument, Mesa Verde National Park, Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Good water and electric with Wi-Fi that worked well for us. We would definitely stay here again. Also very fairly priced. Stay 3 nights - 4th night is free.

Everything is perfect about this campground. Owners are nice and it is very well laid out. They even have evening meal available if you are so inclined. Nice sites, excellent road system. Only thing that was a problem for us was the wind and as has been said before, they cannot control that. It was blowing so hard one night that it woke us up at 3 AM. If I was planning to stay again, I would definitely check the weather and winds ahead of time.

This was our first stay in a U.S Army Corps of Engineers site. This campground is wonderful. It is not close to a lot of amenities; but if you want to venture out and just enjoy nature - this is the place to do it. It is also a good place to stay a night or two if you are traveling on Interstate 40 as it is an easy off and on access. Our rates were cut by 50% because we have the senior pass. Even without that, rates are reasonable for the accommodations. Long sites with plenty of room to park the car. Fire pits, wood fire grates for charcoal cooking, nice picnic tables at each site. Good electric and water; but no sewer. There is a dump station. Waterfront and water view sites. We were able to get satellite and internet with our Verizon card.

This is a great park. People in the office are friendly and helpful. During the summer months rates are $44/night and you cannot stay more than 2 weeks at a time. Sept. - April some longer term sites are available for $425/month plus electric. There are no amenities to speak of here. Spaces are very adequate, sites and roads are paved, campground is clean. It is the nicest campground we have found in the area, and we would definitely stay here again.

The problem with this park is that very few sites allow you to get TV reception because of the many very tall trees. We did have AT&T cell reception and on some sites our WI-FI connection worked. Thousand Trails parks are all in need of some TLC. This park is no different; however, better managed and cared for than most. Small park and staff was very pleasant. Previous descriptions of amenities are accurate. However, pool area and miniature golf, while adequate, could have been excellent with painting and some repairs. Only a few sites on the sewer side have 50 AMP. River side has 50 AMP and water; but no sewer. We stayed on the sewer side.

This campground has narrow roads and all shady sites. Maneuverability is very tricky for a big rig over 40'. Only a few sites can get satellite and only 1 can get roof-top satellite in the McKenzie area where there is sewer. They are many more spots that can pick up satellite in the area where there is no sewer. Our space was large and we were able to park both our coach and our tow there comfortably. We had a fire ring on our site. Nice family clubhouse, miniature golf and playground for kids. WiFi at clubhouse only. We were able to have both cell phone and wireless computer service in coach with AT&T.

We absolutely loved this park. We stayed in one of the Riverfront pull-through spots. We loved watching the pleasure craft, tugs, and ships pass. We were originally scheduled to be here 2 nights and decided to stay for 7. It was very serene, shopping within 5 miles. Grounds very well kept and personnel very friendly, except for male owner who could be a little terse and was not nearly as friendly as his wife and other personnel. Very convenient if you are traveling North on I-5 and need a stopping off place. We would definitely stay here again. If they had monthly rates for the riverfront, we would consider staying a full month.

This is a Thousand Trails membership Campground. It is a very nice campground and we enjoyed our stay here. Lots to do in the area including Sea Lion Caves, Perpetus Overlook, Oregon Coast Aquarium. Georgie's and the Chowder Bowl are excellent places to eat. Our AT&T cell service was spotty; but, we were able to get Satellite as we picked a site that was open and not in the trees. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a Leisure Time Resorts membership campground so we paid nothing for our stay (site would not allow me to put in 0). Others may pay varying rates. We absolutely loved this campground. Our AT&T wireless phone and computer connections worked well in our site. No trouble connecting to Satellite. Spacious site. Park clean. Wonderful enclosed pool, hottub and jacuzi area although I did not actually make use of them. Plenty to see in the area including Astoria, Cannon Beach, Forts, Columbia River Maritime Museum, Ecola State Park.
